The roads in Nagasaki

I didn’t realize the charm of Nagasaki, where I was born and raised, while I lived there.
The stone-paved hill streets, the old stone walls, the narrow stairs, and the sound of bells from both church and temple, hears at the same time in the early evening—I have taken it for granted.

長崎の道

生まれ育った長崎の街は、そこに住んでいるときにはその魅力に気がつかなかった。
石畳の坂道も、古い石垣も、狭い階段も、夕方に同時に聞こえてくる教会と寺の鐘の音も、
それが普通だと思っていた。
